Humanists in Healthcare is a project of the Washington Area Secular Humanists (WASH). It is intended to organize, assist, call attention to, and support humanists/atheists/agnostics/secularists in the clinical practice of healthcare.
Doctors, nurses, therapists, and others. If you put science over dogma and believe that reason should come first, we encourage you to join in. We do not have a religion test, so you can be of any belief or none.
We will start meeting online only. One need not be a member of WASH to join. We will attempt to do gatherings once the pandemic subsides.
This project is being organized by Ovais Khalil, a nurse in Maryland. For more information, contact Ovais (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Ovais describes Humanists in Healthcare in this video.
